It was a very satisfying series finale. Delighted for Edith & Bertie, although I was even more delighted for Dickie & Isobel. I remember live-tweeting the finale and when the nasty daughter in law barred Isobel from the house I remember seeing "UNLEASH THE DOWAGER" bouncing around my Twitter timeline. The whole thing with Daisy & Andy is cute, although I was never very invested in them. It feels like there's just an air of "he's single, she's single, let's put them together!" Not much chemistry, imo. Thomas Barrow has one of the most drastic character turnarounds I've ever seen. But it was all believable and every scrap of happiness he has was earned. And in conclusion, the smart money is on the Bates baby being falsely imprisoned for murder before age six.

Loved going on this journey with you. This is definitely a comfort show for me, and I don't think anyone has ever done reactions for the whole series, so thank you for that. It was fun to relive it with someone else. As melodramatic as this show could be I'm glad they decided to go happy route with everyone basically ending up in a good place. Especially poor Edith. She definitely deserves her Happily Ever After. I do wish Mary had ended up with Mr. Blake rather than Henry, since they had such great chemistry, but it is what is. And I totally agree about Thomas. I don't know if I've ever had such a huge change of opinion on a character over the course of a series.
