I felt so awful for Mary even before the crash happened. She must have to push down some anxiety just taking a regular car ride, and watching that crowd of cars racing at high speed. Yes, it was rough for Henry to get his heart broken on the same day he lost his best friend but he did push for an answer and I don't blame Mary for refusing to give him false hope. The chemistry Mary had with Matthew is just never going to be topped, although I do think Henry is a good match for her. Again, poor Thomas. I had the same thought that he could replace Molesley, but that doesn't even seem to be considered by anyone as a possibility. And yay, Molesley! I loved seeing how emotional he got. He's always been the guy who never gets a break and for this to just come out of nowhere was delightful. I never found Robert so relatable as when he saw that puppy.
