Everyone's already said everything. I really like this episode too 😌 It’s the kinda “smart-dumb” that gets me right in the funny bone. I'm a firm believer in "not everything is a parallel," but, if Shelley's looking for one between the two cases, a potentially obvious/not really thought-provoking offering is that both the Musca and Harper, while looking for/failing to find a mate, wound up “nesting” among and with dead body parts. 🤷‍♀️ …You’re welcome?

Loved the Dean and Jack side of this episode! Jack really shines not in only just being so adorable like usual, but his zinger about being allergic to doing nothing, his ability to turn the tables on Dean numerous times, getting his first experiences with the ladies as well as his ZOMBIE finally! Just good stuff I wanted for Jack and was upset we didn't see as much of this with Cas and Sam (who are arguably closer to father figures than Dean). And while I am sure we all knew all the AU characters were not ours, this episode and last really drove home how painfully they really were not close to filling those gaps. Not that we wanted that but it makes it all the worst dragging it out all over again with no gain.
