The best episodes of Highlander are when he is in Paris. And the barge is one of the places in fiction I always wanted to live on. Saw this in my late teens and that was the dream.

Truthfully, I came to the conclusion that the Gathering and the there-can-be-only-one thing were sort of a religious belief of immortals. I mean who told them the rules? Moses? They've been having their little fights for centuries. If one immortal ran around and killed every other immortal in the world, couldn't a new one be born the next day? It's what they believe but trying to make sense of it is a waste of time.
