"tell Duncan, go get your dad" 😂 Don't think Duncan was sad about killing Alexei (the drug dealer who's sword Duncan threw in the water), he was sad remembering all the people who were killed/arrested that he failed to help back in Russia. You are right, he should have killed him way back when he had the chance. A solid episode with one flaw. I liked all the present day stuff, but if they're going to do a heavy tragic backstory I need way more time/story. I felt like we just got the end of the backstory and didn't get the beginning or middle of how Duncan got involved or any sense of the relationships back then. TBF this was longer then most of the flashbacks we've had so far but it still left me wanting more. One of the reasons the ending scene falls a little flat with Duncan mourning those who died is we barely saw/knew them. It was great to not have Duncan tortured for a whole episode. Tessa and Richie's mini character arcs were good. There are small scenes that crack me up like the kid telling the henchman "that dude in the T-bird took you down cold" we got Ducan in a turtleneck we learned chopping up an immortal into little pieces also kills them and Alexei seemed pretty thirsty for Duncan The intro does go hard, watching the intro/theme to Highlander never fails to get me in the mood to watch an episode. As much as I'm looking forward to possible future episodes, I'm looking forward to future intros just as much :)
