I absolutely love season 7. Regina and Rumple have always been my favorite characters and season 7 adds Alice who quickly became one of my absolute favs easily beating out Emma and the charmings. Don't worry your questions will be answered some of which within the next few episodes. Just enjoy the storylines in this season are a lot of fun.

I really love this "pilot" it was so interesting, its different enough but (for me) still feels like OUAT, even with the new characters that I came to love soon enough. You're right, the casting was great on adult Henry, he (Andrew) plays him so well, I can still see Henry in this version, with the code names, and I love that he's still an author here, I feel like thats the perfect way to continue with this "Chapter 2" taking it from Henry story, and its fun how kind of "meta" it is ( chef kiss to that). Like people have said, the answers will come but this is OUAT, the plot will unfold and still bringing new things as it goes, I really really love this season, more now that in my first watch, cause like many of us, its weird on how what we're used to and change it so suddenly but now that I see the story as a whole its really really great. The stories that they told here are so intriguing, and I like the changes in some characters. This version of Cinderella step mother is SAVAGE! love how she doesn't have magic and doesn't see it as "Power" as many other villains have, and the actress played the roll so well (also massive fan to that reference to the devil wears Prada) Anyway, can't wait to see how you react to the rest, that I gotta admit, I thought that you would be so excited with the changes, specially since s5 and even if s6 did a better job, it wasn't quite like it was before, so this season felt so "fresh" from my perspective, hope you like the rest, see you in the next one
