This ones a little bit shorter than my usual wrap up videos. I was having some coughing fits off and on so I had to be a little bit more succinct than I wanted to be. Season 8, let's gooooooo!

Great wrap up! I feel exactly the same about Season 7. So glad you enjoyed it more than people thought you might. Can't WAIT for Season 8. Friday can't come quick enough, I'm so excited to see what you think about the premiere!!

Oww damn, for some reason my comment keeps gettin deleted? It was a very long one so I'll just say that I enjoyed much more this season for your thoughts and analysis at the end of every episode, That camera shot of Emanuel's introduction was my favorite entrance of the show and I hope you feel better soon.

2022-12-31 17:52:29 I completely agree with your assessment regarding the Leviathan. Other than Edgar & Dick Roman, they really didn't develop them or make them seem threatening. And other than a few standout episodes in the middle, it was only the first two episodes and everything since Cas came back that I re-watch. Losing Cas, Bobby, Frank, and Sam almost dying was done on purpose to put Dean in a dark, depressive & self-destructive space. The drinking is just part of Dean's personality. It always has been, but Bobby was the same and Sam drinks a lot, too. I think it's just a Hunter thing.

You talk about the heavy handedness of the season, but honestly, I think you were more critical of society, America, guns, and culture. I felt that you came across as preachy on occasion.

My top five episodes 5) There Will Be Blood; 4) Survival of the Fittest; 3) Death's Door; 2) Meet The New Boss; 1) The Girl w/The Dungeon & Dragon Tattoo; and honorable mention to 'Time After Time' because duh...1944 Dean (hot!) I think this season is one of the weakest of the entire series. So I place this season last, with Season 5 as my favorite. While I might not watch a few episodes in S4, I will re-watch EVERYTHING is Season 5.

Great season wrap. I have always been a fan of this season and now that you 've seen it, you know why. Every main character to me had an immense inner struggle going on. From Dean being so hurt to Bobby trying to stay to help "his boys" And as long as the boys are riding in Baby and hunting there can be no bad season to me too! I loved your going back and watching your old predictions, and after hearing the new ones I can't wait to see how you feel about where the story goes. My favorite episodes are: 1. Deaths Door, because of course it's one of the best of the entire series to me. 2. The Born-Again Identity 3. The Girl w/the Dungeons and Dragon Tattoo 4. Hello Cruel World. I actually like this one slightly more than the premier, but that is just personal taste. And 5. Repo Man. Honorable Mention Survival of the Fittest. I love these end of season wraps, one day I'm going to be quick witted enough to ask a question for it. Thanks Shelley, sharing this show with you has made the pandemic a little more bearable!
