Supernatural has been my obsession for 15+ years. Now a part of me lives for watching first time reactors and welcoming them to the SPN family🙃 As for Dean, his intensity and dangerous edge mixed with his passion for movies and tv (and he calls Sam the nerd, ha!) makes me smile and feel sad at the same time. I think of him as a little boy behind locked motel doors, watching over Sam and losing himself in whatever the tv had to offer. When he was older. there were no buddies to go to the movies with. There was his brother or he went alone. And from the countless pop culture references Dean has made in 15 seasons we know he has seen an impressive number of movies. Then there's the line that tells us he watches Opra and he was hooked on Dr. Sexy and those cowboy boots, lol. All of it just makes his character more endearing.💙

#GiveCastielAHug 😔 You know, its the first time I’ve watched this episode, there’s a few episodes of the serie that I skipped when I binged it, cause I was on a dead line but my did I like this. Loved how the pass from fairies to dragons I do watch your OUAT reactions and how fitting that we are in the Camelot plot Dean is so loveable, even when he mess up things, he’s my fav too Ps: two episodes down to 15! Prepare the booze for it 😅, maybe you could watch 2 ep per week? I know you watch other shows but the waiting is killing me😩

I remember my baby bro telling me about SPN in early 2006, but ignored the advice at the time. A few years later, I remember seeing an ad and thinking, "Oh COME ON...these two ridiculously hot guys picking fights with ghosts and demons...? RME..yeah whatever." Finally, I gave it a shot out of boredom, and maybe even a little smug sense of proving to myself how lame it was going to be (teen drama was just never my thing...even as a teen). Episode 3 was when I knew I was hooked, and after 4 the show became my 3rd child. HA! Man...I have never been that wrong about anything in all my 40 something years. My kids have developed a love for it, too now that they're old enough (and my eldest son's first celeb crush was Jared Padalecki). Then I got my bestie into it so I could have someone to obsess over the show with for hours at a time. Because yes...IT'S THAT IMPORTANT. I have never ever in my life been into anything (other than my family) THIS MUCH. It was such a relief to know how many others are the same, and that it's kind of the norm for most of the fandom. Going to conventions was the best, though...I miss those. The first time I watched, I didn't have a favorite...I was just taking it all in and enjoying the ride. Both Sam and Dean bring so much to the story and it would have never been what it was without either one of them. Dean is such a larger than life character, and he's much more noticeable because Jensen is so charismatic...he's perfected the art of scene stealing. But honestly, for me, it's Dean's life purpose and reason to live that I identify with the most (as a firstborn, who was raised with the same values in the midst of a chaotic childhood). His world is Sam, first and foremost...and that's why I lean toward Sam as well.

Lol, two comments already about drinking up for 6x15. Well, I don’t disagree.... You will enjoy it either way, I have no doubt. I really enjoyed watching your reaction to Dean trying to pull out the sword. Jensen is so good at physical comedy. 😂😂😂 You are absolutely right that Jarred does a great job playing Soulless!Sam and he is noticeably different from regular Sam. The hug he gives Dean holds so much of what we have been missing and what was missing from their reunion hug in 6x01 that just made Soulless!Sam feel off. This hug is one of my faves, as is the one in Mystery Spot. I just love when Sam goes barreling into Dean for a hug.

So there's a lot of lore of Dragons. They're not ONLY the flying winged creatures, in a lot of lore they can take humanoid forms. And creatures, including dragons, like virgins because they are "pure". As far as gold goes, it really depends on the lore. Some lore says that it resonates with dragon magic and becomes like an addiction, other lore has gold and gems acting almost as a sort of protective shield for their less protected areas (which is why in a lot of art of dragons, they can be seen sitting on mountains of treasures in their cave) But quite a bit of lore does have them being able to take humanoid forms. Dragons are incredibly powerful, so in a lot of lore, I bet they could take any sort of form they want.
