A little detail I love is that, at the point where Dean is afraid of literally everything, he still lunged towards what he thinks is a demon possessing his brother. Even in that situation, the protective brother in him will not switch off.

Really good discussion and review after the episode. I love how well you are at getting things and what is significant in an episode. I'm totally with you on this episode. I love it too. It's simple, yet so good. They were able to make us laugh while still giving good bits of info on what's going on with Dean. It was nice seeing Sam as he experienced his brother this way. The boys have had questions about this episode during their convention panels, so I'll find some snippets to share with you. BTS info about the bit at the end with Jensen. That was a happy, unplanned thing that happened because Jared was being "Jared". He decided to mess with Jensen and just not come in on his cue, but to leave Jensen there, laying on the seat and rocking out to the song. So Jared went to stand with the crew instead, and asked them to keep rolling. The crew, and director too, were up for it, so they did. They had learned by now that the boys are good for content. So when Jared didn't show up like he was supposed to, Jensen decided to just roll with it, since the music didn't stop he figured "why not". And so history was made. FYI, they had Bobby speaking Japanese in this because the actor, Jim Beaver, asked them to write it in since he is fluent in Japanese. Dean’s fear is so cute at first. My favorites are him in the car, driving the speed limit, not wanting to turn left across traffic and yelling “Am I haunted?!” Oh and later his “I don’t want to be a clue” then manning the flashlight. The ending having to drag the ghost....just horrifying. Stopped me from liking this episode at first. Now I just skip that part.

One of the best things this shoe does is cover some heavy drama with comedy. It's such silliness on the surface and there is such emotion and truth just underneath. Wow that's what I love the most abou this one. I can't wait for Ep 7, one of my favorites in this season. I am looking forward to your comments on that. And wow the parallels between this episode and seeing it right now is certainly interesting.

One of my FAVORITE episodes ... There is NOTHING like Dean screaming like a 12 year old girl at a cat ..... was so looking forward to you getting to this one. This is one of my favorite seasons along with the next .. Things are just getting good :)
