Great episode! It makes more sense as the second part of episode one, because this was two part season opener, so it's best viewed with the first episode as intended.

Just a FYI about Ming Na Wen - she hurt her leg/knee in real life, actually filming a stunt back in the end of season 4 - so they incorporated her injured leg ( she had meniscus surgery over series hiatus) into the script and that is why she was shown arriving in the future with a pipe in her leg.
