It actually wasn't just the protocol-like speech that Fitz caught on to, it was a callback to last season — the real Radcliffe has an avian-hybrid prosthetic eye, which is what Simmons noticed right as she was about to perform surgery on him that made her stab him with a needle. So here, when Fitz is looking closely at LMD!Radcliffe, he notices that there is no such eye. Combined with the other red flags, Fitz sussed out what was really going on. Baller move though, straight up shooting him in the head! No hesitation at all. Re: Radcliffe and the Darkhold, it's similar to Eli (though less so, as at least Radcliffe makes an effort not to kill people whereas Eli did not). He had weaknesses that reading the book then amplified and gave him the tools he needed to enact things he previously couldn't. Without the Darkhold, Radcliffe was reckless and overzealous (see: building Aida in the first place), but the Darkhold is what pushed him over the edge.

Radcliffe is corrupted by darkhold. Fitz was just saying Aida actions in 4x9 were not they were caused by him.
