Hey, cutie drones. Hex here.

Here's all the pictures to accompany the previous video!

For context on the latter three, we tried a new technique where we pointed the softboxes away from the latex, and then to compensate for the lower light we raised the camera exposure right up! It was an interesting experiment, and does create a cool effect, but it's not fully viable as a technique to use consistently. It probably be something we try for a full set later down the line though.

(it does also make one of the images look like drone nap nap time)

(which is valid, the drone deserves its rest after squirming about for so long!)

(honestly, so many drones wanna just get wrapped up and then sink into that state. Which is fine, but it doesn't make for great hashtag content. I know you, you want to see it be animate. You want to go to the zoo and tap on the glass to see if the restrained thing will react in some way. And so, we have to bully it. We have to exhaust it. So we can get those wonderful noises of someone breathing heavily through a gas mask. I'm onto you)

In other news, I took 5 photosets and 2 videos in the last 7 days, so today is a bit of a rest day! Just doing a bit of admin, editing up some photos, before I have two other drones coming to visit (one of which is a very energetic puppy, such a good puppy drone, oh yes it is).

Hope you're all rested up yourselves, dear assets!

Huh, that armbinder doesn't look very secure, I bet I could escape from it... 😸 (*Foreshadowing music sting plays*)

It looks so tired from trying to get out of its restraints
