Quick HexCorp Update (Patreon)

Hello, cutie drones and the ever shrinking number of those who have not yet been converted. Hex here!

So, let me get the important part of this update done first, though this may not be applicable to you depending on your location. Patreon is having to introduce a 'sales tax' which will affect some patrons, starting on July 1st. If this is applicable to you, you'll find out because Patreon will send you an email separately explaining the circumstances to you. A general summary though is that some states in the US will apply a sales tax of anywhere between 4% - 11% and a handful of other countries will also be applying their own, so it really depends on where you live. Patreon estimates that this will be less than 50% of the people reading this.

You may have seen this update already, as Patreon is asking all its creators to make sure that all of you are aware that this is coming into effect. If you have any questions, Patreon have a fairly extensive article going into the details on this.

In other HexCorp related matters, we recently just posted a lil microfic on Twitter of a brainwashed society under our control that you might want to take a look at! Also, if you can remember back to mid-March, which does feel like a decade ago, we announced that we were going to be moving out shortly... a plan that had to get put on hold due to the obvious. Well, it looks like it's finally going to be happening near the end of July!

During July, due to the house being half empty, we're actually going to be able to get through way more photosets than usual. We've already posted our poll with three times the usual options given, because we're that optimistic about a potential productivity spike!
