A thousand years ago, the Renkethi people fought in a terrible war against alien aggressors. Their fledgling civilization was left in ruins, and their homeworld vanished in mysterious circumstances. Seeking refuge they found a planet they named Renketh, an ocean world with vast oceans and dotted with island chains. Here they found refuge for a while, but they were found. The surface of their new homeworld was bombarded, but some of them lived. They retreated into the seas where they found an alien artifact that proved their salvation.

Today they continue to live in the oceans of their world of Renketh. Perfectly adapted to survive in the seas of their world, but their seas are no longer theirs alone. A new group of aliens has arrived and begun to make their homes on the surface of Renketh. For nearly a century they have avoided contact with these aliens perfectly content to hide in the depths, and let these aliens have the surface. That was until one of their deepsea expeditions met disaster, and a young girl found a survivor in the wreckage. This is the story of those two girls.

For reference, the story is a yuri love story focusing on the budding relationship between two young girls, from very different societies. There will be some plot also exploring how the two cultures interact after suddenly being introduced to each other. The question is, would you be interested in reading it?
