The "I'm Still Not Dead" Update - Early 2023 Edition (Patreon)

Hey, everybody! A belated Happy New Year to you all.

It's that time of the decade again. News! Updates! Changes! Fun stuff to go over in the form of bullet points. It's like Christmas morning or patch notes day except the guy in charge is an idiot and he only just got back from stepping out for milk and cigarettes.

• We're back. Again. With feeling. (TL;DR for this one is above the next bullet point)

• This year, I'll be back to regular Patreon updates as opposed to this extended "maintenance" mode the page has been on. It's been so long mostly because I previously hadn't much of an idea of what I'd like to do with my Patreon page after several policy changes made some of my regular content undesirable if not entirely prohibited.

But I've finally sat down, asked myself the big questions, and sorted some things out with my goals.

To be real with you all, I don't currently wish to replace my day job by making this stuff consistent, everyday work. Not only because it's (and I myself am) not as reliable as I'd like, but also because I'm not as passionate about some specific parts of this hobby. I rather like where it's at right now as a "side hustle" sort of deal and I'm content with pulling back a bit on various aspects in order to keep things comfortable for me. I can only hope my supporters and followers are cool with that, but I understand I'm an old dog with few new tricks in this day and age of people pumping out quality 3D art and smut.

With that in mind, if you've kept up with my Twitter or DeviantArt, you'll probably have noticed what I've been up to over the past year or so and have an idea of what I'm kinda planning on pivoting to. 

I've really come to enjoy working with models themselves instead of just creating images and animations. I've been helping other artists pretty up their Daz Studio and Blender models while putting out the occasional image for fun and it's been fun. I want to focus on that for a while.

I want to continue making animations here and there too, but I'll need some time to learn to do so in Blender because I really loathe the idea of going back to SFM at this point. It's far past time to put that program six feet under.

• TL;DR I'm gonna release mostly resources and pics here and on Pixiv, Twitter, DeviantArt, etc. I'll eventually do animations again once I learn to animate in Blender but it won't be as many as I used to do.

• New tiers and tier reworks are here

• New tiers are up for the resources I'll be releasing (for mostly Daz Studio).

• The existing tiers have been reworked a tiny bit. The monthly patron-voted reward is back but only for images and resource packs respectively for now.

• The monthly poll is back (for images [for now])

• As previously mentioned, patrons will once again be able to vote in a monthly poll to decide whom I'll use in some art for that month. There will also be one for deciding which Daz figure will get one of my ZSE Presets packs.

• I may eventually go back to doing animations for this, but it will only be a monthly pic and resource pack for now.

• There will also be a post each month where you can suggest choices for the polls (as well as ideas for what the pic will actually be).

• The polls and suggestion boxes should go up by February 10 and last about a week.

• New archive link(s) coming soon

• Kinda a given, but I'll be adding 2021-2022 as a "complete" year in the annual archives and updating the monthly archive very soon. Stay tuned!

• Discord changes coming soon

• Unless I find a better way to update posts, you won't be able to directly access reward links from Discord at some point in the near future.

• Instead, I'll be using Discord as another place for people to access work-in-progress pics, previews, and suggestions. Not to mention you'll be able to chat with me directly on there as I'll be more active than before.
