It was very much overdue. In this video I'll explain how to get a smooth iteration count for the Mandelbrot set that allows for some really kick ass coloring schemes. It gets a bit mathy, if you don't like that you can just skip ahead and copy the one liner for this. Though I encourage you to follow along and understand because actually understanding things always open up more paths to explore!

Apart from this, we'll also look at making a kaleidoscope, which could be used with other patterns as well.
