Hello! this page is how I imagined a conditioning procedure to function, using the available technology to upload information and execute precission brain surgery of the Consortium.

I also consulted a medic and a psychologist to figure out if my idea was at least "close" to being at least a little believable. 

Conditioning is defined as:
"the process of training or accustoming a person or animal to behave in a certain way or to accept certain circumstances."

The first time I heard about this was in school, you know, the pavlov dogs and the bell.

but what made me really interested in this was Dune, as some of you might know, I'm partially obsessed by Dune, and when I was a kid I read about the Suk conditioning, something that was supposedly unbreakable, and realized conditioning could be used in a sci-fi story this way, it blew my mind.

since then, I've roll with xenos being "conditioned" to obey their scientist masters, but I've never actually tried to explain it, because it was the "theme" of Part 3, which was still foggy in my head, for saying something.

I tried to come up with an explanation that makes sense to me, based off some things I've been thinking since a while, you know, our past experiences shape our behavior and personality.

The Consortium conditioning is basically manipulate emotions to trigger an uncontrollable response, intense fear that is only calmed by obedience. 

I'm sad that this part of Laura's fate, being the first xeno to be submitted to this, her experience was much more traumatic than how the produce was introduced in later models.

in any case, I would like to talk someday about how I originally imagined this part of the story, but I would ruin the current Derideal ending. so After the comic is over, maybe I should try to talk about what could have been.
