Derideal 16 - 04 WIP+BLOG (Patreon)

Hey! I almost forget to write a blog and show the WIP of this page today.

Basically, I spent some time imagining how to make a transition from the "nightmare/memory" scene towards the rest of the episode, and this represents many things... I hope I managed to make it understandable.

the glass breaks, because she wanted to open the window, even after what her father told her, she tries to open it, and suddenly the entire thing crashes, but at this point, it represents her entire reality... it was difficult for me to figure out how to make this page and make it understandable, but it's not super literal, I mean, in the pieces of the glass, you can see part of Laura's "cat" face in it.

as the glass shatters, everything around her shatters... everything in this scene is mostly psychological... I'm very interested in making these sort of sequences, I've always been with Derideal, I love the symbolic and confusing nature of dreams, as it was also a way for me to imagine how Aden's mind could be working, under so much manipulation, under so much confusion,

Derideal will be back with dreams during these episodes, I hope these are a little more clear to understand than the ones in the original comic, in any case, I love this stuff... I think it's OK for some people not used to this kind of narration to not like it or get a little confused with it.
