Alright, this little bit of backstory has been in my head since a while, in sort of a nebulous way, like I was doubting about how it really "happened".

I'm also wondering how much possible something like this would be, I guess it will make more sense when the next pages get updated, and when the next episode hits Patreon, which is a very important one--!

there are a few hints for people who still remember the first part of Derideal here, like this guy in the image we saw it during Aden's first creation, dr. Isaac, who made the adjustements in the bioreactor to replicate "copies" of Aden, in case they really needed after the first meeting with the Consortium leadership.

also, kid's sickness I imagined to be leukemia, some sort of slow blood cancer... which is treatable, but some variants aren't from what I know, in any case, I played it as "mysterious disease", which involve being late in diagnosis, but also lack of possibilities to fix.

I also tried to modify these page dialogs to talk about this guy being the kid's father, but I thought it was obvious, also, notice how Dr Orozco always refers to "us", even if she could also ask for "me" in this case, but she's always thought about them as a family, as they need to be together in the last moments.
