This is the only thing he could think of that could do for Ivory, considering he's now out of the project... but everything is just making him question who he is and what's the Consortium really doing. I thought about it this way, if you're living in a fully controlled society and a cruel human world, some people might just never question about it and just play around, since it's the only way of life they know... feelings aren't exactly muchimportant in this society, and only whatever makes it for improvement.

I haven't really dedicated enough time to "show" the city, despite having considered about it a few times , but it would make the story too long and it would break the structure (but could be done in a spin-off, probably)
despite what this is a "dystopian" future, it's not exactly a decadent one, the Consortium city is mostly clean, and people work and do their lives good enough, health and everything works perfectly... but everything is strongly controlled in many different ways and values are different too, how much? I really can't say because I just have a general idea for it, like... a dystopian society, that basically forcefully carries humans to survive and become susteinable in the future, at any costs.

funny enough, this scene was born out of an idea I had of "make a quiet scene" because I thought the comic it's always intense in a sense, so I wanted to include more quiet scenes that could hopefully be less stressing... but this scene turned out being very melancholic for me, I mean, it makes me a little sad reading through it.

also, I don't think if I really accomplished it or not, but I'm using a different brush to these pages in part 3, it's a squared one, and I wanted to give the lineart a more gritty feeling, these sketches of the pages are made with a usual "round" brush, and it really gives a different feeling I think, compared to the squared one that's more sharp looking in the pages.

You showed this moment of epiphany perfectly. It shows Ivory's temporary joy and Daniel's humanity.

I love the emotion in this one. How devastated Daniel is and how concerned Ivory is for him. I think it shows that he's bonded with the kitties and they all feel for each other.
