does the consortium ever get punished for what they did, or do they get away with it? also are going to kill the rebellion off like you did in the last version?

The Consortium basically has free pass to do whatever they want in this city, and they're not the "big bads" in this world even... just a few people oppose the regime and try to act against them, and it's always sort of a lost battle. (there's no a rebellion in the way you could think, as people organized with power enough to fight back... there are just rebel cells and they're not so many to fight back, at least not yet in the story)

You could say The big bad is the Prime project director, who's calling the shots. but you can also think they're basically against the world, is humanity society in this world setting. this isn't a story about heroes vs villains, there's no rebellion that's going to defeat an Empire with a single battle. You're born free? or you're just basically limited to do whatever your family and society tells it's your duty? (that's sort of the parallel I was thinking when making a basically "slave critter" that was created to be part of an experiment and serve masters that doesn't care what are their own wishes. But give it time, things will make sense little by little, Derideal story I've found isn't easier to predict, and I take my time delivering building up the finale.
