I barely notice any mistakes in structure or word choices. I think it might be easier because English is a basically a mashup of several other languages. Is the trickiest part the fact that it breaks it's own rules constantly?

I think most languages do the same and come from older languages. I just find it more simple than Spanish, seems to have a more practical approach, less words and some words are just a mix of others.
