Part of the idea behind this comic was to play with a concept I had in mind... some humans ruins still exist in Earth, but most are just wastelands or wild lands outside clan borders.
I haven't really thought much into this, as I feel most of the clan territories aren't exactly nearby from one another, as their population is very few... most of the Earth should be empty in comparison with clan populated areas. how much exactly? I'm not sure.
but I think this would allow interesting adventures and stories, let's say, for a roleplaying game session "in-planet" leaving a bit space stuff.

this changes a little the nature of XEN storylines in my head, but since this is sort of a special episode, it isn't exactly very important for anything else except for develop Nova's personality... still it was fun to consider dangerous zones outside the clan borders... but which is the nature of the dangerous things? we'll see later.

these comic panels required me lots of thought about how to setup the landscape, heh, but despite they took a while, it was possible to make the ruins look different from the wild forest nearby, I hope..

here's the original script, without the "cameo" characters. I really love Nova's pose in the 3rd panel, and I'd say poses in the second... that's why those were almost not changed from the original
