Derideal ep 5, 26-27 WIP + blog (Patreon)

It's been a while since my last blog, so I wanted to write a little more.

first thanks everyone who's been following the comic in Patreon, all of my patreon supporters have given me more confidence to keep pushing forward with my comics, so the fact I managed to make more comics beside Derideal is also thanks to your support.

Derideal ep5

This part of the comic changes a lot from the original, as certain things that happened in the story are now happening at the same time.

The rebel attack over the city happens now at the same time Aden and Laura are found by the rebels, this will change how the comic ends and how "important" the rebels are as characters in the story, I know it might affect the second half of Derideal, affect certain parts that might seem a little more weak now that Aden might not spend much time with them. But it was necessary for me to reduce the duration of the story, so I can finish it.

This part of the comic was the most exciting for me when I was a kid, I found "cool" Aden fighting against the robot, it's VERY influenced by the ED-209 robot from Robocop movie... now I think that there are a ton of things I could have done better, but it will be for next stories... I've learn a lot remaking this comic.

I also added a "further improvement" stage of sketch before drawing the final linearts, before I used to improve the poses and all that in the "inking" process.. but I think I got to spend more time now fixing up things so they look better later.

I also removed a page from the remake, it didn't "add" much to the sequence.
