maybe it's not so easy... I wonder how much she's regretting whatever she did to Laura using the Neuroplasty device.

the first panel is also a play of memories, her father facing Laura, her "mother" doesn't look at her and avoid her... but Orozco isn't her mother, really... just the mother of the original Laura.

I'm not super sure how effective this bit of the story is, or how silly it is for people reading, I felt a little self-conscious about it, but meh, it was what I imagined at 16 years old, but executed in a much different way than I originally thought.

I dislike the concept of abusing "clones", abusing "timelines", "universes" it stop being special, it stop meaning anything.

just a part of "human Laura" lives in current Laura, they share part of the DNA, his father tried to copy her brain structure, how much was this Laura modified before birth even attempting to preserve as much as he could? still... he didn't even had the means to produce a human clone usng the bioreactor, all he could do was hijack some of Aden's clones or something.

in any case, future xenos were born out of this, and I guess it's a little sad in a way. Allowed the Consortium to develop more docile xenos and aid in the search of controlling them entirely.
