Graphics

I'm happy how the rework of the art look turned out. I still kept the black outlines but I turned them a bit down, baked global illumination, and also added a nice floor GI so there are more visible gradients on the screen. Of course I also made the colors more interesting with darker reds and pretty pink sky colors.

The majority of the work was aligning the look of the game to the principle: Bright floors, dark walls. This is so the player's eye knows where to look in the distance or nearby.

Hair customization

The hair is a very simple gradient creator that allows you to set the hair strands of wig #1 (the long hair wig). You can set the color to a solid color by just removing the color keys and having two of the same color. There will definitely be more wigs soon. I am planning on making a short hair one.

The same system will be used for clothing customization. it is very likely that the colors of a shirt/jeans/etc. will be controlled by the colors of a gradient instead of a texture because it's a very easy way to customize.

Story

The story will be conducive to evolving the gameplay. I understand that people want a sort of sandbox build a robot game, but I think a story will be a good mentor for expanding and teaching certain gameplay features. For example, maybe you need to follow a storyline to unlock flying.

The actual story will include new characters. One of them I previewed in the video. In order for me to focus on the game and not on menial things such as animation and texture work, I may not give these new characters physical bodies. They may only exist on the internet of your computer.
