I'm finishing up the base gameplay loop for the next game update. The issue is that the main gameplay loop, which is the main activity of the core game of Viva; the gathering of resources and, bringing them back and using them in some form like cooking, is partially complete. It needs more features so it feels like there is a main thing to do in the game (outside of taking care of your character).

I don't have anything to show today except for the advancements in the map. The past few days, beside programming, I made a waterfall in new parts of the map. This was the process:

First I modeled the base sculpt:

Then I applied a nice subdivision so it feels like it had volume:

After that I brought it into Viva and I added a nice scroll shader:

Looked good so far but it was missing particles:

Last touch I did was I added sounds and some flow variety in the way that the water breaks up. Instead of just being a flat wall of falling water, I broke it up with some rocks and divisions:

I also started recording more clips for the v0.9 release-trailer.
