The last big bugpatch #3 will be ready to drop this week! Also, for the Supporter tier of patrons, we will have the first exclusive Beta test run for Viva on the Oculus Quest later this month. There may be some catch 22's in the Quest implementation. No info on it yet.

Anyways here are some of the new fixes and improvements so far for the coming update:

Custom characters can now have custom thumbnails. So they don't have to be the character t posing. Example:

This should make it more intuitive to select a character.

Also, the last devpost mentioned pickup fixes, they have been implemented and produced better results. Picking stuff up for characters should be easier, no more getting stuck, and is more robust.

Another fix I did was fixing the poke behavior to be less sensitive. Before the fix, a poke would be registered whenever the face or tummy bodies would collide with an object faster than a certain set speed. This worked, but it did not take into account which body was the one going fast. This lead to double pokes:

First it registered a stomach poke, making the character bend over and then slam into my arm, which registered a face poke. Together this made the weird stuttery double poke. This was fixed now by just making sure that its the other body doing the poking:

Lastly, hugging has been mostly implemented and will be almost the same as the original hug behavior. Will have videos for it next devpost.

Stay tuned!
