Regular development posts will resume tomorrow. I wanted to talk about the implications of a fully moddable game platform.

As you know, Viva is going to be implementing custom mods for its next release. It will allow custom models, textures, behaviors, and maps (maps in the future). This massive customizability opens the game to anything. And I mean anything. Therefore we wanted to clarify some ground rules.

We will be hosting mods at the moment on the Discord as the modding community grows. Eventually we will jump to Steam Workshop in the distant future. This means that all PUBLIC mods must not be R18 in nature. You can showcase your mods in the Discord, get feedback, and ask for help. But we won't allow the posting of banned content. You'll have to do that on another website.

That said we are only a week away from Build #2 of the mod tools. We will be using the launcher to make it easy. I am preparing the YouTube videos for the release, the website API, and the build itself.

As always, stay tuned!
