Apologies game launcher is still going through some issues. Please use this Google drive 0.8f link to download the game and manually unpack. Password is "fire sky".

This beta includes VR and physics fixes as well as the new fireworks. This game now comes with Oculus, Vive, and Index bindings. If you are using a different VR headset, please use SteamVR to bind your controls for the game.

How to get fireworks:

1.) Get the lolis attention

2.) Point to the yellow market stand next to the fruit stand

3.) Fireworks will appear inside the wooden crates

4.) You can place more crates on the stand to spawn more

5.) Grab a firework and use action to light it up

There will be a few new animations later to make the loli clap, become scared, and acknowledge the fireworks. Try it out in night mode by cycling the day/night time in the pause menu!

Can I only play with VR headset?

sgthale

You can use keyboard or vr. Make sure you downloaded v0.8f. The link should be correct now.

Still not working for me. Says '403 invalid code'. V0.8e's code doesn't work either. Launcher is V0.1.3.0 and says it's up to date.

Link worked for me. Starting SteamVR (using Valve Index), then starting VivaProject but it is only visible on monitor (keybord mode). Switching to VR mode, SteamVR asks for controller mappings, choosing VivaProject. VivaProject now visible in headset (menu still opened) but hands are stuck in floor and I can't use them except for moving and turning (with thumb stick). :-(

Bind the pose to controls. Go into bindingd and choose ADD CHORDS. Raw -> Pose

Odd Unicorn

You are right, I see the binding in application_generated_unity_vivaproject_exe_binding_knuckles.json. Anyway, I realized I have accidently loaded some community bindings yesterday that were some months old. I was able to fix the stuck hands with "Edit Action" -> "Left Hand Raw" -> "pose". But since I wanted your bindings I tried to get rid of the community binding, which took a while. Now I have bindings stating "These are the official bindings published by the developer of this game", but I doubt that. Several bindings are missing and the exported binding file is ~500 bytes shorter. If you tell me how, I could send you a debug-log from SteamVR, from starting VivaProject until closing it again. Perhaps that could shed some light on what's going wrong.

Odd Unicorn

What is the difference between application_generated_unity_vivaproject_exe_binding_knuckles.json and custom_legacy_bindings_knuckles.json? Is custom_legacy_bindings_knuckles.json still needed anyway?

Odd Unicorn

I wonder if there is a way to remove/delete the association between the game and the bindings. That could eventually force SteamVR to load the "official bindings published by the developer" next time I start VivaProject.

It is very annoying and I think it has to do with SteamVR Input being buggy. Ill try to do that next time.
