So I've generated this scene with a girl in a scene like this. It was supposed to be an arena or colosseum, but I decided to be fast with this test.

So I've modeled in Maya a very simple and fast shield and spear (which became a sword lol).
I use Maya because it is the most used in AAA industry and thus the one I've been using since several years. You can do this in blender or any other 3D software very easily if you know how to model.

Basically created very simple materials in unreal and placed them in a similar angle with the light of a open world scene (default from unreal 5).

Used PureRef to place the original image above the scene so I could move the spear and shield to a proper place.

Removed the pureref and took the highresolution screenshot from unreal.

Placed unlit pink material to use it as a mask in photoshop later.

Isolated in photoshop

Placed the images together and masked some parts to make sense.

Inpainted to find good shield and spear.

Tried outpainting, it wasn't really nice, but at least I tried. The shadows over the edges made it difficult to become nice.

Did this for side and vertical then went to img2img to add more resolution and detail.

Inpainted the eyes and increased upscale to 3840x2160 pixels. Then went to photoshop for some corrections and small details like removing fingers from shield top and changing brightness/contrast/vibrance/saturation.

The result is the image from the post.
It was very simple and blind workflow based on guesses and knowledge. I'll test other things later on.
