I know some of you probably grew up watching Saint Seiya, this one is less known because it's not really official, it tries to stay true to the story more than 200 years before the original Saint Seiya, but it's not from the original author. Sadly they stopped this at season 2.

Knights of the Zodiac, it was the first anime I watched in my youth and it was my first manga collection. It was with this series that my passion for Japanese Culture, Animes, Mangas began. It's a shame they didn't finish animating Lost Canvas, the story is very interesting and helps to understand the events of the last great holy war.

Yes, to me, in terms of pacing and animation this one was a good upgrade from the previous anime. I like the original Saint Seiya, but the series at the time were made to stall so they could get as many episodes as possible.
