Jimin grew out of this more kinda young mindset about mistakes.. they’re human ya know.. and this whole group has things about them that seem superhuman… and if you start to compare yourself to others in situations like this.. it’s very easy to pick yourself apart. He’s definitely more mentally tough now and singing better than ever I think. One thing is that the vocalists respect jungkook and his skills so much when it comes to singing… he’s the baby of the group and that’s not usually how things work in their culture lol but in every single behind the scene thing I’ve ever seen of them with live performance rehearsals and soundchecks or whatever .. you will ALWAYS see jungkook monitoring the rehearsals and then you’ll see jimin with jungkook monitoring and he always asks for advice about how to make something sound stronger or “better” or whatever he thinks is lacking in the rehearsals… I think that’s amazing. Even to this day… like for example.. in the Butter interviews jimin talked about how he had a really hard time with recording butter… so he had jungkook come with him to the studio and kinda help him find a way to sing his style but in a way he hasn’t in awhile… and that jk helped him find that sound and he was so happy with the outcome… but that’s just such an insane amount of trust and respect.. that stuff hits different. Tae in a studio session started struggling a bit and said he needed jungkook bc he said jk helps him with high notes for recording.. or even live and how to approach them in a way that he will be able to sustain … or if he’s struggling rehearsing… he always goes to jk with it and they just have a lot of respect for him and what he does … it’s just beautiful. Bc of course jk has things that he admires about them that they help him with and so on and so on…. That’s the special bond and synergy of this group. They’re selfless and so supportive… it’s just amazing to see
