Lovely, lovely there, Eva, but tell me. Why did she shoot her self? Was it because she fell out of a plane iwhtout a parachute? You never know, she might have gotten lucky and landed on something soft.

It depends on your velocity at landing which equals kinetic energy. But, you never know, she might land in a snow-drift or go through branches of trees which slow her fall. There was a case of an airline stewardess who survived a fall from over 28,000 feet when her plane disintegrated & everyone else was killed - she got lucky and landed in a deep snow drift, although she nearly died from shock, heat loss and hypothermia the rescuers got to her in time.

When you fall over enemy territory with no parachute you either die, or are captured. Considering she's wearing an explosive backpack to prevent capture her death was a foregone conclusion.
