It was over. She knew she could try to keep fighting, but the Fremen had already proven themselves far too capable for her to take down anymore disemboweled and disarmed as she was. In any case, it had only taken six of them to take her down. She'd killed five of the brave girls, and the sixth would probbaly die from her injuries as well, but the young assassin harboured no illusions about her ability to fight the dozens that were swarming the chamber. In any case, resistance now would be nothing but a futile gesture. She had always expected to die, it was a suicide mission, after all, but she'd never dreamed that she would fail so spectacularly. another assassin would have to kill this mysterious Maud'dib. As they dying Fremen warrior put her cyrsblade to the Harkonnen's throat her last thought was that she didn't fancy the next assassin's chances...
