Intriguing, and you're quit right, darling! I looked up Red Kite and it definitely bears a strong resemblance especially with regard to the outer flight feathers.

I'm afraid the main image is the final version, this is a record of my various attempts to create the final product, not a set of options to vote on, but FWIW I very much like 17 as well, it just felt a little too hi-tech for the settng.
