THE GREAT DE-FRANNEXING (Patreon)

Hello you shining gems,

Sharing this just for the Patreon fam before it goes out on socials. Many of you know that we use crayons to count subscribers over on the Twitch channel. We do this because a portion of the channel's revenue goes to The Crayon Fund. The Crayon Fund goes to someone we think is doing something AWESOME.

Our May-June Round was a heart-stopping TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED AND EIGHTY EIGHT crayons *splutters in gratitude* I'M SORRY WHAT?!?!? Apparently the Jesters did not receive the memo that these are supposed to be very quiet down-time months for streamers? Jesters apparently care not for downtimes?!?!?! 

Our May-June Crayon Fund recipient is the Ottawa Fringe Festival, a theatre festival so good at what they do that 100% of their ticket sales go directly to performers. They're also proudly Rainbow Registered and do amazing work for inclusivity and diversity in the performing arts. 

We talk a lot in our Patreon community about keeping our eye on the "why". Content creation and social media stuff is heady and I want you all to know that being able to make these kinds of donations through the Crayon Fund is a HUGE part of my why. It is a joy and a privilege to be able to share some of the incredible support and positivity of our community with organizations that are putting more good out into the world. The consistent monthly support from YOU beautiful patrons is a huge part of why I'm able to move joyfully through the uncertainty of other platforms. I get to do this work and share this good because of you.
