Patrons-Only Comic: Preparing to Bloom (Patreon)

Sweet Patreon fam,

When we hit full on winter in my city, there are mountains of snow outside, sometimes taller than I am. They blanket everything and make it so beautifully quiet and muffled. It's peaceful and it can also feel like my motivation is buried beneath them. 

I try to remind myself that when things are a slower pace on the outside, sometimes it's because my energy is needed inward. I do a lot of planning and thinking work, looking ahead to what we can all do together when we emerge. It is tempting sometimes to begrudge myself the times of slowness, but we put down roots when we're still for a little while y'know?

I am so excited for the plans being planted and I can't wait for the antics we get up to this year. Thank you all, incredible patrons, for being here in the quiet seasons and the hectic ones. Your support is life changing and I am so grateful for this community. Here's to all the seeds we're planting and giving them time to bloom.
