Animating at ArtsPark with Tina LeMoine and MASC! (Patreon)
Content
Hello lovely friends.
Many of you know our most recent Crayon Fund recipient is an amazing organization called MASC that helps put artists out into schools and communities. I recently had the absolute delight of being hired to work with one of their artists named Tina LeMoine on this little animation activity for a festival.
I made cut outs of all sorts of creatures, people and shapes that could act as "movie stars" for an animation. Kids could come up to the table and choose their character, then colour them in and head over to Tina so that their character could be in a movie! Tina would work with participants to make their little creature jump and move through a stop motion world and this is the result!
I had SO much fun working with everyone on their characters, and seeing them come to life. This video is packed with the joy of making that I think makes MASC so special.
Speaking of special, I am so honoured that we'll be giving out last round of the Crayon Fund to MASC and it is all because of the support of the amazing Jesters over on Twitch. Thank you friends, for making this all a reality. The support here on Patreon and the community we've built is so life changing that we've been able to share it around to so many worthy organizations. I am in awe of the good we can do, and you are the most incredible group of people to get to do it with.
Thank you for being here friends. You're awesome.
