Oh MAN is this ever a learned skill. Listen. I love saying yes SO much, especially to people I like. I am so very lucky to get to work with largely people that I truly think are wonderful. This is amazing but it also means that saying "no" can feel like an absolute disaster.

Except that it's not.

I mean sometimes it's not well received sure. But my experience is that a forthright no is FAR better for any relationship than a resentful yes. And even those nos that DO go over badly? Never once have I had the world end because of them. Not even once.

So name those boundaries wonderful Patrons and know that I will support you when you protect them. 

Take care of that energy. You deserve it.

This is a huge problem of mine that I need to learn how to do. A few years ago I said no to a friend and lost the friendship. I'm more angry about it than hurt, but I learned a lot about her and myself in the process.
