Hello beautiful Patrons!

I wanted to share this here before it goes anywhere else. I love the process of making but it DEFINITELY tosses ya around a little bit! There’s a curve of excitement followed by the “can I even do this” slog and I think it’s super helpful to see it drawn out and made a bit silly.

Do you get new project excitement? Middle of the process blahs? I still wouldn’t get off the roller coaster for anything!

Be well wonderful folks. Thank you for being the first place to put these thoughts!

Ugh! Middle of the process blahs for sure! If it's a project I can blast through in a week or so, the "Yay! Shiny things!" will carry me through. But by week 3... or 7... *sigh*. Right now, we're going through the collection of books where I work. Getting rid of outdated and obsolete copies, and thinning out the areas where too many books on a topic means that they're not going home with people very often. Good work. Useful work. But it's taking FOREVER! 😱😭😭

Ohhhhh that sounds like a VERY tedious task - heehee we need more intermittent “yay shiny things!” to trick our brains into being motivated!!

I get the 'in over my head' blahs? Probably not a thing for you. Thankful I'm mostly just messing around!

Oh for SURE!! Lots of projects give me big time intimidation!! That's probably in the "careening downhill section"
