Quarenscences: The Seemingly Unbothered (Patreon)
Content
A little sketchbook page of people who seem to be handling pandemic life very gracefully.
Fig 1. This fellow with the face mask that looked like it just grew there - sort of how some people just look like they must have always had facial hair?
Fig 2. Two kiddos, the younger of which had his birthday party cancelled and so had folks driving by and honking as per pandemic-party-protocal. He and his big sister were both very matter of fact and seemed so very unbothered.
Fig 3. Most unbothered of all, this happy doggo on a car ride with a person who is likely home a much more desirable amount these days.
In the midst of so many not-so-fine moments, I find it soothing to doodle these doing-pretty-darn-good moments. I've been writing and doodling on lots of postcards for the With Love + Distance project and have also found this to be so very calming. The notes people send are so lovely - snail mail is magic I swear.
If you have a pretty darn good moment you've captured, send me a photo and maybe we'll turn some into sketches.
Be well friends. So nice to have you "here."
