So, I’m thinking about taking a little break from making models and pics so I can focus on animation. For the past three image sets, I’d tried multitasking, working on models, pics, and animation at the same time, but that hasn’t really worked out. I wanted to spend at least 2 hours a day working on animation, but with the amount of time it takes to make models and pics, that just isn’t possible. It’s become pretty obvious to me that I can really only focus on one type of content at a time.

I figure now’s a good opportunity to explain my thought process/workflow when making stuff. I make NSFW art because it’s fun. The process of creation, even in this crude form, is something that brings me a lot of joy. Before doing NSFW art, I spent a couple of years doing SFW stuff, and making art gave me the same enjoyment then, as it does now. My goal is to generally ‘make things' and improve my craft along the way, and as I improve my craft, the more satisfying it becomes to make art.

I started making models because I wanted to choose the direction of what I made. This means that any IP (generally speaking) could be a foundation if I wanted it to be. Image renders serve a dual purpose. They allow me to iron out problems with my models, but also let me explore new characters and settings at a speed that wouldn't be impossible if I only made animations. But then there comes a problem with this. I know most of you guys mainly just want to see animations, and this focus on models and pics takes away from the content I think you want.

So, then in order for me to make animations for you, there will have to be points where content kinda “halts” for a bit, where I sorta disappear until I’m comfortable sharing WIPs of the animation. So, I guess now I gotta ask you guys. Are you okay with that? Are you okay if I potentially go radio silent for a month as I work on an animation? And are okay if this slows down my progress on Cyberpunk stuff and future IPs?

I like the animations more to be honest. They are just amazing!

Vincent37

The art is always good but would love to see a motion picture of the art but enjoy your break you deserve it

Shadowcoll

It's all good. Do what you gotta do. Can't wait to see what you got in store.

Brandon Duckett

Make your art, and we'll be here for it.

Phillip_onmeh

Take your time. I'm sure you'll get no complaints but I'm in the group that like the animations more

CrazedDasshu

I think you should do whatever feels comfortable for you. In the end, it's your work and life, no one else can control that. However, I will give you some advice. Many people go radio silent without any sort of notice and such, and their fans/supporters go bad shit crazy of it. So maybe to save you the hassle, have more communication. If you're gunna go radio silent, send notice and on what type of content you're going silent for. Stuff like that. I think something like that, which can build some sort of relation to artist and audience, can go a long way. Just advice from a stranger. The important thing is, you do you.

Im trying to learn animation in blender. Im willing to help out if you want. i would love to try animating a shot or two of yours. )

Heyaheyaheya

I used to love the animations you'd make. I wouldn't mind less stuff if it meant seeing all the models and sets you've made in action.

Gio

I think you'll find overwhelming support for this decision, considering the quality of your work I, and I would imagine many others wouldn't mind waiting longer for more animations. Take your time. Maybe just tweet from time to time to let us know you're alive?

briefcase sharpie

full support but also follow your heart

Larry

cool take your time

Machete42

I followed and supported you for your art work/pictures as they are the best. Your animation work is a bonus to amazing art. If your finished now with Cyberpunk and moving on to the next one. Then a animation to finish it would be great. Just like the DC work before. Animation takes time so if you need go silent then go right ahead. We'll be waiting 👍🏼

Thanks for sharing why you do what you do. I always wonder why people do what they do (why artist art) Is there an end goal in mind, wanna get a job in the field working for a studio or something like that. So thank you for sharing your story. As for the animation question, well I've been pretty vocal about you doing more animations soooo lol. I know that they take a while depending on the task at hand, I fallow nyl2 so I know all to well and am somewhat accustomed to the radio silence. But if I can offer you one piece of advice, that would be don't go to radio silent. Pop your head up from time to time on twitter or whatever to say hi, proof of life kind of stuff. We want and like to interact with you too lol. Plus it would be a nice distraction for you as well as just having and enjoying life. Best of luck in whatever you decide to do 🙂

Go for it. I think it's totally reasonable to go near radio silent and halt the model work to start working on an animation after all the progress you done so far with images and especially the beta models. I think the key is striking a good balance between model updates and animations, which I think has been good so far for your cyberpunk content. So yeah if say now would be a perfect opportunity to break from the models and start up an animation.

You have much years of experience than me Rigid but I feel you so hard on how you think now because it's exactly what I start to think myself. I spend most of my time at the moment on creating models and pics while my real goal would be to learn animation. So yeah, totally go for it! You already provided so much content and models for the community lately, you deserve to "rest" from this and do what you really want to do, even it means to remain silent for a month. You have all my support for this!

Great work takes time & good things come to those who wait...that's both sides in a nutshell. As GP indicates just communicate a little about what's going on and all will turn out great. Keep up the excellent work and exceptional quality.

nycedwardd

I say do it. If you can document a little of how you do it that would be awesome too

Ajax3D

I don't mind this tbh. You gotta do what brings you joy and what feels right to you.

Snake Plissken

Very ok with that! I loved your Triss animation since it had a proper start-middle-finish. The cat woman animation was great, wish we could see wonder woman and power girl cum all over cat woman’s tits! Also the elf gangbang image set was hot how much she got cummed on… I imagine that would be challenging to animate!

MagniVox

Hell yes dude. Do what you feel like doing, so long as you don't burn yourself out !

ANIMENIAC

I've been happy with your image sets and am used to just that only not even expecting ANY animations but happy on the occasion there is one. I'm fine with either but may I suggest if you're focusing on animating would it be feasible to get a weekly, semi weekly or monthly 4K wallpaper render of any scene you think of making. Just to tide us over. Don't stress over it though.

Bayden Bramwell

100% ok! Animations are way juicier <3

Zabadoodee

I would rather you go radio silent for 2months if it meant we got another excellent animation (like your Jill and Futa X video). Images are okay, but your animations are incredible and worth the wait.

Maverick Paladin

So stoked to learn you're going to be dedicating your creative energies to animation efforts...can't wait to see what you produce. I'd love to see a full length feature film eventually come out of all this...maybe first a series of vignettes to prime the pump? Just a thought.

J-FUNK

I don't mind radio silence for a month, but I do think it'd be interesting if it was somehow possible to document your animation process and workflow. It may prove as a useful resource to look back on to see what mistakes you made and how to prevent making them in the future as well as a resource for others to better understand the amount of work that goes into each project.

Foot - A

Love your work so you do you. Silence don't scare me.

Tobias Apples

Became a patron to support your animations. They will be worth the wait.

Black Lion

There are lots of pictures you make that I would love to see animated so I’m happy about this

Ichigo Kurosaki

Silence is fine. I want you to work on what brings you joy. Yes, the animations you make bring in a large amount of people but still, don’t feel the need to force yourself if you don’t want to. I’m happy to support your creativity and if I get an animation, even better!! Take care Rigid, keep it up buddy.

Nichelover

hell yes to animations

Myashima

totally okay with that! i love the stuff you make images are totally great but if you have to get off for a while to make these pictures into animations....yes definitely yes!

Ryguy719

This is good news. I appreciate the update!

Motor069

Take the time you need, the work you do is amazing, we will waiting until the next project supporting you!!

MCharod

found some of your renders at random and wanted to see more of your work as they are just so good !! Really excellent...you deserve any and much support for what you do.
