Injustice Models Last Update

I uploaded the final(ish) versions of my Injustice models. The main change this time is that I included all the new outfit pieces I showed previously. This puts the total amount of individual outfit pieces, plus character-specific outfits, at 100+. That’s a lot of stuff, and I hope it was worth it.

Onto to a bunch of smaller changes.

  • I fixed the transparency on the ‘Amazon Dress’, noticed thanks to ITAlessio
  • Adjusted CW Heels on her Injustice outfit
  • Adjusted Cycles teeth shaders
  • Adjusted Cycles skin shaders for Blender 3.0
  • And I tweaked the rig so that the fingers and IK hands are mirrorable (about time).

So, before I upload these models to Smutbase, I want to do a few things. I’m gonna make a few more preview pics showing how the models look. Apparently, Smutbase only allows 10 pics per project, and because I already have a few preview pics done, this means I only have room for 5 more. So, I’m gonna start working on those and post them shortly before the models release. I’m also gonna work on a demonstration video showing how the models work. It'll probably around 4 minutes long, which kinda sucks because people have short attention spans, but I think it’s something necessary to make so that people know how to use these models.

A couple of other things to note. These models are pretty much 100% done, but there still might be some very slight changes by the public release. Also, SSS seems to of changed a bit in Blender 3.0. I basically had to cut the SSS value in half to achieve the same results as in 2.93, which is fine, but it also means that the SSS on all my previous models is goofed now. So, after these Injustice models are public, I’m probably gonna sweep through all my past models and fix their shaders for 3.0.

If you change things for the public release, can you tell us in a new post, please ? ^^'

Really appreciate all the work you are doing on these models. But do the files have to be in RAR format?

thanks!

I tried moving the bones but the mesh doesn't follow, it just wiggle a bit, what can I do to fix this ? Thanks in advance.

Nah, I’m fairly certain it’s a compatibility issue because I replicated the problem by opening the models in 2.93. Maybe it didn’t work in 3.0 because you saved the blend after opening it in 2.93? Also, both of those pics are in 2.93.5, so the models won’t work there.

They are less convenient than zips, in that you need an app to extract files from them. Zips have native support in Windows and MacOS. Zip is also an open standard, unlike RAR, so more options if you are using Linux.

How to move eyes?

In the rig’s properties, you can unhide the face bone layer.
