THE SUFFERING - I AM DEATH INCARNATE (Patreon)

FUCK YEAH, KIDS, IT'S SPOOKY SEASON AGAIN! All those boomshoots that came out last month? Ignore them! I will not have this sacred time interrupted because 3D Realms did a three day show and everyone started releasing their own shooters en masse.

Go play Prodeus, though. Prodeus is awesome.

And so is Incision. And Fortune's Run, even if it grinds my balls to paste. Cultic hits early access this month too because despite my status as "pinnacle of online entertainment," none of these companies ask me what my release schedule is, they just email me sponsorship offers for mid-sized fallout shelters and, one time, anime body pillows. That last one is real.  

This isn't that. This is our first of two Halloween videos this year, on a game I had fond memories of playing as an edgy 2000s' teenager who could appreciate it a little more than I do today. Nostalgia goggles and all. In 2 years, this game will be 20 years old. This game is as old as the original Castlevania was when The Suffering came out.

It's been a long journey getting a video out because 2 or 3 years ago I tried to capture footage of this game and it was not cooperating. One community patch later (which I don't think existed when I last tried to play this) and an unnecessary playthrough in 4k and here it is. Stuffed with gags that took longer to edit than the game took to play. Get this video off my hard drive. God is only dead because he's ducking gambling debts. If you don't notice this when I explicitly state it in the video, F.E.A.R. is next, and I expect that will take about as long, which is why we have such an early start to spooky videos this year.
