If you don't feel like continuing armada, that's fine, but I highly suggest watching transformers cybertron at some point. Although it is part of the unicorn trilogy, and is the third part of the trilogy, as is armada is the first. Also, cybertron starts right after energon, which is the second part. Also, energon is when they start animating with 3d bots, but still animate humans 2d

Transformers shows after prime imo don't really compete as greatly. TF Shows very rarely are amazing, but if I had to say... Besides prime, TF Animated / Armada / G1 are the only ones talked about heavily with their own fanbases. Armada has very dated animation and often times is stiff + off model (this episode for example had starscream and demolisher running and that shit was goofy lol). It also imo takes a bit for it too pick up steam storywise if i remember correctly. However, it has one of the most popular starscream character arcs/stories if you really wanna go through it all. (Side note: Hot Shot was supposed to be Bumblebee. But I believe Trademark issues with the name stopped them from using that name so he was named Hot shot. Hence why he looks so much like him, because he is bumblebee lol. However, Hot Shot was turned into a new character, so think of him as a bumblebee clone.) Overall if you don't continue with this I dont blame you lol. I think TF Animated would be more up your alley, and IMO is the easiest of the two to get into fast

Armada gets better, trust. Starscream from Armada receives sooo much development. Also fun fact the VA who plays Hotshot is Brent Miller, he plays Zane from Ninjago :) also the animation gets better.
