I was laughing my ass off at 7:16 when I watched for the first time. I had tears in my eyes bcs it caught me so off guard. Goddam writers are insane. Also next ep is easily in the top 5 episodes in the entire series. S++++ tier

I've heard mixed opinions on this strike ranging from they aren't underpaid to they are really underpaid. I'm assuming it's a mix of both. Some studios underpay their writers whereas others are treated fine but this strike hopefully results in higher-quality output.

When it comes to movies in theaters there paid just fine. The majority reason of the strike is that actors and writes get almost no royalties from streaming. Once a movie leaves theaters they don’t make money form it anymore most of those royalties from streaming go straight to the companies. At the end of 2023 the head actress of Orange is the new Black made $30 total over the entire year from royalties from the show on streaming. That’s why the strike is happening. Also some are going on strike cause compiles are using AI to write scripts for shows and movies.

bro ep 8 is the beast ep in the series i mean all the ep after this are peaks (except ep 10 its a littel less then the other eps but still enjoyable) but ep is something else

Ah alright. I wasn't aware of that before that I guess that makes sense. And the AI situation is honestly stupid. Some studio (probably Disney) is gonna make a movie whose script is fully AI generated just watch. The end of creative movie ideas is dawning upon us. It's just gonna be a live-action remake situation at this rate. Hopefully, the strike is resolved and both parties get what they want.

This episode shows a part of ruffnuts character that i like. Also it was pleasant watching hiccup always be supportive and helpful to his friends, but yeah it was a filler episode that really wasn't that necessary for the show.
