So the past month or so was spent learning/fighting Unity to make a VRC avatar. It's nearly finished. It's the Mecha Dragon from Mega Man 2. Since it's not my OC or anything I'm looking into finding out how how to go about distributing it freely, with early access for patrons—possibly via making a private world with avatar pedestals for patrons?

Anyway, this is a Generic model, in part because the way it moves is something I had a hell of a hard time hammering out to work with VRC's constraints. It's got 2 separate skeletons just to bypass the default settings. Unfortunately I poured a shitload of time into trying to research how to make it work better and nothing I could find really seemed to work :X If I can figure out how to fix that I'll make an updated version at a future date. 

On the plus side, features! Its locomotion is customized so that it's flying/hovering when standing up and waddling around on the ground when crouched. You can puppeteer the neck to turn its head. It has 5 states of [inflated] (and a surprise if you try to pump it to 6), has a seat in its belly with vore struggle animation (with swallowing and spitting-out states), it shoots a fireball if you make a fist, has custom AFK animation, lots of sounds, face-emote wheel, a mega man-style teleport animation to make a flashy exit/entrance, and an Ult attack for burning up all your friends in a blazing inferno (y'know, to show them you care!) I also edited up some sprites to customize the controls a bit too.

All that I have left to do is add in a few simple generic animations and it's finally *done* :X So far I've added waving. If you'd like to suggest a few or would like to test this out yourself when I have , comment here or send me a message o^o/ I'd like to fill the wheel with the 7 or 8 animations that it can hold.

After I finish this month's auction, I'm getting back to drawing, it's been on the wayside for too long and my index finger needs a break from all the clicking needed to do 3D work. The next avatar I make will definitely be a humanoid-rig that makes more sense, sometime after February. I'm glad to have gotten some newer current skills, seeing as Flash is now not only discontinued but also actively blocked by Adobe, oof  8[ I need to record a collection of animations and post them to youtube just so that people can still see them again...

Real nifty! I had to use 2 skeletons for my Byron model as well. I still need to finish that. D:
