August 2019 Patreon Update: Monthly Auctions (Patreon)

Hello!

As part of an update effective August 2019, I'm adding monthly auctions that you can bid on using  Calico Rewards Points that many of you have been accruing from the start. Once a month, patrons will be able to bid on prizes from Gery. For notifications on when these will be offered, give him a follow on Twitter.

Depending on the type of each individual auction, you can bid using...

A) Points only
B) Points and/or Cash

For auctions wherein bidding with cash is an option, Calico Rewards Points are considered as equal to bidding with a greater amount of cash than what patrons have paid to obtain them. For example a $1.00 pledge grants you a Calico Rewards Point to use as an auction discount of $2, $5, or $10, depending on what's being offered. Larger items will be worth more whereas smaller items will be worth less or bid on with points exclusively to give favor towards patrons. I'll probably be adding tiers for higher pledges to grant more points. If I do, they will be retroactive.

—How do you find out how many points you have? 

I've made a spreadsheet for that here. If there's anything wrong with it please let me know—but it seems to be working as it should °~° I'll be updating it each month via data derived from Patreon pledges, edited for points deducted from prior bids.

—How do I bid on an auction?

Auctions will be posted here or on FurAffinity.net and you can bid via commenting. Unless there are readability issues regarding the commenting system here I'd like to keep these on Patreon so as to not force people create a FurAffinity account, but... chances are most of you have one anyway. The first auction is points-exclusive, so it will be held here later today and we'll see how that goes.
