Update 9/6/2021 : Added Gifdoozer's Rigged Blender file and minor bug fixes for MustardSFM file! Also see below for Gifdoozer new feature, muscle level using displacement map!


Here it is! The long awaiting rigged blend file and UE4 project for Dark Elf Blader. Thanks Gifdoozer, MustardSFM and SunbathGames for their amazing works!

There are a few changes and addition to the .blend file setup that slight different from older release, here are the list:

- Unit scale is now Metric 0.01, which is 1 unit = 1cm. This is for matching unit with UE4 and 3Ds Max so that there will be no more trouble when import/export between all these program.


- No more packed .blend file! Due to large number of 4k textures, this can cause a massive ~3GB .blend file and performance issues.




.blend files is now unpacked and use external textures from local folder with relative path like this (../RyanReos_DarkElfBlader/Assets/Textures). The file size is now reduced to less than 60 MB. When you open it first time it may take awhile to load all the 4K textures but after that it should be smoother to work on.

I'm planning to make this changes to other character .blend files soon. Along with the unit scale tweak.

- There will be two rigged Blender files!
One by Mustard! Done with AutoRigPro plugin which have more compatibility to UE4. Plus his custom MustardUI! This is already included in the product package now.




And another by Gifdoozer! Using Rigify and a more customizable color slider. And a muscle displacement modifier if you want more bricc on this Dark Elf!

I successfully imported the textures, but I am having trouble changing the skin settings, when I click azure, or royal white nothing happens. (i do have older version of autorig pro, and rigtools?)

It is because all variation textures use the same name as base textures. So if you move the blender file to different folder and use "Find Missing File", it can only detect the base textures :( The best way is to keep the same folder structure just like my setup. "Asset/Textures" and "Blender" in the same parent folder and it can automatically detect all external textures.

Whats the UE5 Import Translation? I noticed when Rigging for UE5, most things were backwards

Hi! I'm still not testing her with UE5 yet, but there is high chance that I need to redo her rig for it to be properly working with UE5 animation system ^.^!
